Meg Clarke is a licensed architect with over 30 years of experience in the field. She enjoys solving the puzzle that each project presents, creating a unique and personal solution for each client with the goal of creating exciting and joyful spaces.
Photography has also always been an integral part of her creative life. Her work as an architect and her photographs celebrate light, color and patterns.
Meg received her undergraduate degree in Art History from Mount Holyoke College and her Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland. She is the owner and principal of Clarke Architecture, PLLC, specializing in residential additions and remodeling. In addition to her architectural practice, Meg was an Assistant Professor of Architecture and Design at the New York Institute of Technology in Abu Dhabi for 5 years. Her work has been featured in the book Dream Homes Washington and in other publications.
Meg studied photography at the Maine Media Workshops, where she sharpened her photographic eye, was introduced to story-telling through photography, and enhanced her technical skills. She has also attended photography workshops at Photoworks at Glen Echo and The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. Her photographs have been exhibited and sold in Massachusetts, Maryland and the United Arab Emirates.
